The Regency Rim Latch is a faithful reproduction, created using original designs. Found in locations varying from Cottages to Stately homes, this product is versatile and looks stunning in any period property. Subtly dual-handed, The Rim latch is supplied by a traditional English locksmith. Created using solid Cast Iron, with meticulously reproduced brass components, these items are beautifully heavy and are ideal for period and restoration projects.

The lock body and brass detailing have been hand-finished and aged using a natural oxidizing process. This means that each lock is unique in its texture and appearance, and will continue to acquire it's own unique patina over the years.

The Latch can be used left or right handed, meaning that the snib will be at the top or the bottom. They are also supplied with a small emergency release which can be fitted to the outside if required. This lock is hand finished in Cast Iron - see links below for the Solid Brass version.
